Terms & Conditions

  1. Acceptance: Before completing your order, you will be asked to confirm that you accept our terms and conditions.  Your order cannot proceed if you do not give your confirmation as part of the check-out process.
  2. Governing law: All dealings between you and Sounds Plus will be governed by English Law and the English Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters pursuant thereto.
  3. Product description: While we endeavour to advertise all products on this website accurately and fairly, we cannot be held responsible for any changes in product specification or appearance that our suppliers may introduce without prior notice from time to time.  All photographic and other images of products that appear on this site are purely illustrative and should not be relied upon as a means of determining specification or appearance.  If you have any doubts about any product description, please contact us.
  4. Product availability: All items listed on our website are in stock unless shown otherwise.  We do not knowingly advertise items for sale that we neither hold in stock nor have a reasonable prospect of obtaining from our suppliers within the number of days shown on the website.
  5. As we trade through our shops as well as online, there may be occasions when it is not possible immediately to update the website to show that the last of our stock has been sold.  If you place an order through the website for an item which we have recently sold out of, we will contact you as soon as we can to inform you of the likely availability date for that item and to find out if you wish to proceed with your order.
  6. Pricing: The prices displayed on our website include VAT and standard delivery to an address within mainland Great Britain, unless otherwise specified.  In some cases, we will show how the advertised price is broken down between goods and delivery charges but the headline advertised price will always be the delivered price.  If you wish to arrange delivery to a non-mainland Great Britain address, you will need to contact us.
  7. In many instances, the prices advertised on this site will rely on our ability to obtain beneficial price deals from our suppliers.  Consequently, once a consignment of a particular item has sold out, it may not be possible to offer that item for sale again at the same price.  We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice and to refuse an order for an item at the advertised price if it is not possible for us to obtain that item from our suppliers at the same beneficial price.  In the event of our being unable to supply an item at the advertised price, we will contact you to find out if you wish to proceed with your order.
  8. Payment: We must receive payment in full by valid debit or credit card via our third-party card processor, SagePay, before we will despatch any order.  By completing our check-out procedure, you give us authority via our card processor, SagePay, to take payment from your card.
  9. Cancellation before payment: You may cancel an order free of charge at any time before we despatch your order.  Notice of cancellation should be given by email with the words "CANCEL MY ORDER" in the subject field, followed by telephone confirmation of your cancellation at the earliest time at which it is possible to make telephone contact with us.
  10. Delivery: We aim, but cannot guarantee, to process, despatch and deliver your order within 3 working days, subject to stock availability.  Delivery will normally be made by fully-insured courier service during standard business hours.  In many cases, if we receive your order by 1.00pm, it will be delivered to you on the next working day.  Please note that Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays are not working days for standard delivery purposes.  If you wish to arrange for delivery on a Saturday at extra cost, please contact us.
  11. We can only deliver goods to the address at which the debit or credit card which is used to pay for the goods is registered.
  12. Ownership: Responsibility for ownership of the goods passes to you once they have been delivered by our courier to the delivery address.
  13. Claims: You are responsible for checking your order and for notifying the courier of any breakages or shortages at the time of delivery.  We will not accept claims for breakages or shortages unless they are stated on the courier's documentation and notified to us within seven days of the delivery date.
  14. Faulty goods: We must be notified of faulty goods or missing items in writing (including by email) within seven days of delivery.   We will discuss with you the necessary arrangements for returning faulty goods to us, whether or not the item is to be replaced and any refund arrangements.
  15. Goods cannot be returned as faulty where a specific defect in the product was advertised and/or brought to your attention at the time of sale.
  16. We will pay the return carriage costs of faulty goods but we reserve the right to recharge those carriage costs, and any other service costs we may incur, in the event that goods which are returned to us as faulty are found to be in good working order.
  17. Refunds: Please note that we do not offer to exchange goods or to issue credit notes against online purchases except those that are found to be faulty.
  18. Any necessary refunds can only be made back to the card originally used to pay for the goods.  Refunds will be processed as soon as the faulty goods have been returned and the fault confirmed.  Please note that it is common for refunds to take up to seven working days to appear on your card statement, depending upon the relationship between our card processing provider and your card issuer.
  19. Privacy and security: This site uses our third-party card processor, SagePay to provide a secure trading environment.  We do not maintain card details in our systems so you will have to enter your card details every time you make a purchase from us.
  20. We do not sell or otherwise make available to any other body or individual any of the information you may supply to us during the course of using this website.
  21. Statutory rights: Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

If you have any questions about these terms and conditions, or if you are unclear about any aspect of using the website, please email admin@flashinglight.co.uk
